Lollipop Chainsaw Remake Will Be ‘As Close As Possible To A Remaster,’ According To Suda51

Suda51 and his growth studio, Grasshopper Manufacture, are the zany minds at the rear of cult basic hits like The Silver Circumstance, Killer 7, No More Heroes, and Lollipop Chainsaw. The hack-and-slash zombie video game, Lollipop Chainsaw, could have gained lukewarm assessments, but a remake is nonetheless on the way. Suda51 took to Twitter today to permit avid followers know it will “be as close as achievable to a remaster.” You can check out his publish underneath.

In his statement, Suda51 spoke about the primary purpose of the remake and the incoming variations:

“The key intention of the Lollipop Chainsaw Remake job is to make it so that players who want to participate in Lollipop Chainsaw can do so simply, not to make a new Lollipop Chainsaw game…we have been sad to say unable to contain 16 of the certified songs, which were being a wonderful part of the unique game’s feel, and so we are in its place aiming for a remake that is as shut as feasible to a remaster. In addition, we do not intend to adjust the aesthetics of the sport.”

The first Lollipop Chainsaw was unveiled in 2012 and was about superior college cheerleader Juliet and her journey to survival amid a zombie apocalypse in California. For these of you that hardly ever performed the sport, you are ideal to assume that Juliet donned a flesh-shredding chainsaw. Suda51 and James Gunn (The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy) collaborated on the gory, blood-pumping journey. Joe Juba reviewed Lollipop Chainsaw and concluded his overview by saying:

“Right after finishing Lollipop Chainsaw, I was left with the similar sensation I experienced following enjoying other titles from imaginative director Suda 51. Like Killer 7 and No Extra Heroes, the premise is exciting and imaginative, but the gameplay execution has also numerous holes to embrace totally. Even so, also like people past game titles, I am happy I played Lollipop Chainsaw.”
